Payment Policy
Last updated: July 6, 2026
This policy describes how payments work on CitizenBD, the methods we accept, and how transactions are confirmed, reconciled or refunded when something goes wrong.
1. Accepted Payment Methods
- CitizenBD Wallet balance.
- Mobile Financial Services: bKash, Nagad and Rocket (manual verification).
- Additional methods may be added from time to time and will appear on the payment page.
2. Manual Payment Verification
For bKash, Nagad and Rocket, users must send the amount to the number shown on the payment page and submit the transaction reference along with a screenshot. Our team verifies each payment before releasing the order into processing.
3. Transaction Confirmation
Once a payment is verified, an invoice is issued in your account, the order status updates automatically, and an in-app notification is sent.
4. Payment Failure & Duplicate Payments
If a payment fails, is delayed by the operator, or is paid twice by mistake, please contact support with the transaction reference. Verified duplicate or failed transactions are credited back to your CitizenBD Wallet.
5. Government Fees
Government fees shown on the platform reflect the latest known values. If the relevant authority changes a fee after your order is submitted, the difference may be adjusted before processing.
6. Refunds
Refund eligibility is defined in the Refund Policy. Approved refunds are credited to your CitizenBD Wallet and can be tracked in your wallet transaction history.
